Lisa Mehrabi invited a small group of friends to celebrate her husband Amir’s birthday at the River Market Tower in the River Room on the 20th floor rooftop. The couple was the highest bidders on the party during the live auction at the Chocolate Fantasy Ball benefiting Ronald McDonald Charities of Arkansas.
Janell Mason coordinated this event, which featured flowers by Inspired by Nature and catering from Dugan’s Pub. Tall trumpet vases held branches of curly willow, white French tulips and white orchids. Large white peonies blown open to reveal beautiful red centers floated in vases placed throughout the room.
An assortment of cocktails, beer, wine and champagne was served. Guests dined on chicken tenders, stuffed mushrooms, Corbel toast and steak bruschetta. The birthday cake and accompanying cookies had a delightful martini theme and was the focal point on the buffet.
Guests lingered into the night and enjoyed watching the sunset over the Little Rock skyline. Upon departing, they were given party favors of Hangover Cures: large cups reading “Don’t Forget to be Awesome” that contained chocolate candies and Red Bull. It was a birthday celebration like none other.
A framed photograph of the birthday boy’s first birthday added a personal touch to the cake display used at isa Mehrabi’s birthday party for her husband Amir.
