Get out those running shoes and be sure you’re at the inaugural Nike 5K & Kids 1-Mile Fun Run this Friday at The Promenade at Chenal.
The event is set for 6-10 p.m. with proceeds benefitting the Boys and Girls Club of Central Arkansas. The 5K begins at 7 p.m. and the Kids 1-Mile Fun Run at 7:30 p.m. The Tavern Sports Grill, also at The Promenade at Chenal, will host a post-race awards ceremony and party.
Registration for the 5K is $25 in advance and $30 the day of the race. Registration for the 1-Mile Fun Run and the post-race party and ceremony is $20 in advance and $25 the day of the race. Admission to the post-race party for non-race participants is $15 in advance and $20 the day of the event.
For online registration, click here. Registration the day of the race will take place at the Nike Factory Store at The Promenade at Chenal from 4-6 p.m. for the 1-Mile Fun Run and 4-6:30 p.m. for the 5K.
The first 100 5K registrants will receive a commemorative Nike 5K & 1-Mile Fun Run t-shirt. Trophies, medals, ribbons and other prizes will be awarded.
