Bottom’s up.
For one weekend only, The Studio Theatre is getting sauced with some of Shakespeare’s finest at A Midsummer Night’s Drink. This raucous show is what happens when booze takes one of the Bard’s most famous works off the rails with hilarious results.
Here’s how it works: At each performance of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” a different actor is chosen to be the drinker. As that actor continues to imbibe throughout the show, the others must do their best to keep the drinker on track, complete with audience participation.
You have three chances to see the show, each with a different outcome as a different actor is chosen at each performance. See it Thursday-Saturday, Feb. 20-22, at 7:30 p.m. each night.
