Family has always been of the utmost importance to me. I began working for my dad’s company, Cleanco, in 2011 after a seven-year stint in property management and the birth of my child. This opportunity allowed for new growth of my father’s company, while also allowing me to be the mom I wanted to be. In 2013, I entered an art competition at the urging of my husband and mom and won. After seven years of not painting, I started again and hence began ArtECobb.

PRESSING QUESTIONS:

Why do you love your career?
Working for Cleanco has also allowed me the freedom to explore my passion for art and have a more lenient schedule for my child. I get the best of all worlds, and each day is beyond fulfilling.

What’s a fun fact about you that would surprise people?
If you asked me what I wanted to be at 5 years old, I would have said a truck driver. I loved and still do love a good road trip. I also am a big tomboy at heart.

Knowing what you know now, what’s the best advice you could have given yourself when you were first starting out?
If you can dream it, you can do it! Follow your passion, and the rest will work itself out. Don’t take yourself so seriously! Laughter is the best medicine for almost everything. It can get you though a lot.

How do you define success?
A happy balance of being good at all things I commit myself to – from being a daughter, sister, wife, mother, friend, employee and artist – equals success to me. Laying my head down at night knowing I gave my all is success.

What is your best personality trait?
Persistence. (My husband might call it stubbornness). I do not take the answer “no” easily. I work overtime to change that “no” to a “yes.”
