I own a full-service interior design firm/boutique real estate company. After graduating from the University of Central Arkansas in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in interior design, I started developing a business plan that is ever-changing to fit my clients’ needs and my own. In 2007, I earned my real estate license and am now an experienced broker, helping my clients make informed decisions when buying, selling and designing their homes. Influenced by many styles, I love the thrill of finding antique, mid-century and vintage pieces to mix with modern trends.
PRESSING QUESTIONS:
Why do you love your career?
I get the variety of doing something different every day and get to know my clients on a personal level. Plus I have the flexibility to pick up my kids from school and to be home with them in the summer.
If you weren’t doing this job, what would you be doing?
I would devote more time to raising ADHD awareness and advocacy. Because this disorder is so common in today’s society, it’s my goal to get people discussing the importance of proper diagnosis and treatment with a positive outlook.
How do you define success?
To me, success is the process of finding inner happiness and contentment, both personally and professionally, while blessing others along the way.
Who is your role model?
I am one of the blessed ones who can truly say my mother is my role model. She has taught me to have faith in God and to be compassionate toward others while standing up for myself and my own values.
What is your best personality trait?
Perseverance
