When I moved to Little Rock in 2012 I didn’t really know what to expect. A new photography business, a new city – so much unknown! Little Rock now feels like home thanks to my wonderful clients. I consider myself not only a wedding photographer, but a life photographer. I enjoy photographing every step of my clients’ journeys. We grow together and the friendships that form along the way are so special! If you would have told me two-and-a-half years ago that I would be where I am today, it would have been hard to believe, and for that I am forever grateful!

PRESSING QUESTIONS:

Why do you love your career?
As women, we should solely measure beauty by what’s on the inside. However, it is incredibly rewarding to hear a woman tell me how beautiful she feels and looks on the outside when she receives her images!

What’s a fun fact about you that would surprise people?
I was “Jenna” on the ABC TV show “Surviving Suburbia.”

Knowing what you know now, what’s the best advice you could have given yourself when you were first starting out?
Stop worrying! Think positive and work hard and good things will happen. Make sure you self-define what success means, and never stop reaching for that definition.

Who is your role model?
Snookie! Just making sure I had your attention! Ha! So many people have influenced my life, but I will mention two: my mom and my husband, both for so many reasons. My mom for teaching me I could do anything if I worked hard for it. Having someone instill that in you every day growing up ends up making you crazy enough to believe it! I owe much of my success to her. My husband because of his boundless ambition. He has a stronger work ethic than anyone I’ve ever met and he balances that with the kindest heart. He inspires me to be a better person in every aspect of my life.

How did you know this is what you wanted to do?
During my brief stint in L.A., it was so nerve wracking to be in front of a camera … all eyes on you. I wanted to be the one to create, to capture moments and to make others feel comfortable! When I started photographing others, I knew I’d found my career. I am so thankful God put this path in front of me and I thank my clients for allowing me to keep doing what I love every day!
