My first and most important job is being a wife and mother! However, I am blessed to have a “paying” job with Legacy Capital Group Arkansas, where I am a principal and senior consultant. Legacy Capital Group (LCG) is an Arkansas-based firm with offices in Little Rock, Northwest Arkansas and Denver. For over 30 years, we have been providing clients with innovative solutions in the areas of wealth management and corporate benefits. My focus is the corporate benefits division, where I primarily work with large employers specializing in the benefit design, implementation, compliance regulation and rate negotiation.
PRESSING QUESTIONS:
Why do you love your career?
An employer’s benefits package is the second largest expense outside of payroll. It is very important to me as a consultant that my clients are aware of their choices and how it will affect their employees. Advising an employer in that capacity requires a lot of trust. I love being part of that process!
What are your goals for the future?
My partners and I are focused on the growth of our company. Legacy Capital Group is a very special firm made up of an amazing group of people all working to achieve the same thing – to deliver value to our clients. We believe that our growth will enable us to help employers and individuals alike, to obtain resources that have not been available to them in the past.
If you weren’t doing this job what would you be doing?
Well, when I was a little girl, I always said I wanted to be a truck driver…
What’s a fun fact about you that would surprise people?
I love to fish!
Knowing what you know now, what’s the best advice you could have given yourself when you were first starting out?
Don’t take “no” personally – just keep calling on them and one day they will give in!
