I am a third generation graduate of the University of North Georgia. After graduation, I worked for Dow Chemical. I moved to Arkansas in 1998. In 2009, Dustin and I married, which brought my children and me to Little Rock. This has given me a greater opportunity to be involved in charities that are meaningful to me and to be involved in Arkansas politics. Last year, we bought Argenta Limo because Little Rock needs a more economical/professional car service. The company reflects our commitment to serving the business and nonprofit communities.

PRESSING QUESTIONS:

What are your goals for the future?
I look forward to expanding and growing our business. As our children get older, I hope to expand responsibilities and leadership roles with the boards on which I serve. If you are blessed to have the time and opportunity, nothing is more fulfilling than to give back to others.

What’s a fun fact about you that would surprise people? 
I was born in Hawaii. My middle name is Pualani, which means “heavenly blossom.”

Knowing what you know now, what’s the best advice you could have given yourself when you were just starting out?
I would have told myself to carve out a little more “me” time. Actually, I am still learning that it does not ALL have to be done before I let myself rest.

How do you define success?
I define much of my success through the joy and contentment of my family. Also, I feel successful when I know service I have given has benefited someone else’s life, whether it’s through the ACH Auxiliary, Arkansas Foodbank, Arkansas Repertory Theatre or domestic violence programs.

Who is your role model?
My mother. We still talk twice a day. She was a working mom who always found time to have dinner on the table, teach me lessons about being a lady and make holidays special.

PERSONAL FAVORITES:

Restaurant: My favorites change with the seasons. Little Rock has great restaurants. Right now, my favorites are South on Main, Table 28 and Cache.
