Over a year ago I decided to quit my corporate job with a huge drive to conceptualize my own business, which became Belle & Blush. It’s located in the Promenade at Chenal. We sell upscale beauty products, skincare, accessories and gifts. It’s basically like a candy land for women!

PRESSING QUESTIONS:

Why do you love your career?
Being able to see my decisions come to fruition while learning to grow a business is one of the most rewarding experiences! Also, I love helping and cultivating relationships with our customers.

If you weren’t doing this job, what would you be doing?
I can’t imagine what else I would do, so in my imaginary world I’d be like Lara Croft.

What’s a fun fact about you that would surprise people? 
I almost joined the military when I got out of college. They probably would have thrown me out during boot camp for taking too long to get ready!

Knowing what you know now, what’s the best advice you could have given yourself when you were first starting out?
Fear of failure is normal, but don’t let it stop you from moving forward.

How did you know this is what you wanted to do?
I’ve wanted to run my own business since I was young. It’s just always been in me. Plus, I’ve been a beauty and accessory junkie since I was about 3 years old. So this is a natural fit for me.

What is your best personality trait?
My husband says it’s tenacity.

Restaurant: Local Lime, of course!
Song: It’s so hard to pick one song because I like everything from Justin Timberlake to Depeche Mode!
