While Erin Cassinelli is widely known around the state for being an aggressive advocate, her clients and their families also know her for her intelligence, sound advice, compassion and fierce protection of each of them. Cassinelli has a reputation for being a lawyer who combines both academic prowess with the invaluable quality of being “street smart.” Whether she’s representing a client in a state drug case, a federal indictment or a health care investigation, her attention and direction are focused, honest and personal to each of her firm’s clients.
For many years, Cassinelli practiced at the side of her mentor, the esteemed Arkansas defense attorney Jack Lassiter, eventually forming Lassiter & Cassinelli in 2009. Since then, Cassinelli has managed a thriving criminal defense practice, added multiple attorneys and staff and has bigger plans on the horizon. In 2022, Cassinelli will move the firm to its new location in downtown Little Rock, adding two new partners, additional staff and expanding the firm’s scope of practice to include civil, probate and domestic relations litigation.
In addition to running her firm, Cassinelli is married and became a mother in 2018. In the fall of 2019, she was honored to be appointed by the Arkansas Supreme Court to serve on the Arkansas Committee on Professional Conduct. Continually recognized for the high quality of her work, Cassinelli is active in local, state and federal bars and criminal defense associations and was recognized in 2019 by the Arkansas Times as the Best Lawyer in Arkansas. She is grateful for the support of Little Rock Soirée readers and honored to be named again this year as a Best Lawyer in Little Rock.
