Whitney Cossio is an Arkansas native, born and raised in El Dorado. After graduating law school, Cossio began her career in personal injury litigation with her now law partner, Hal Cook. Since then Cossio has become a partner at Cook & Cossio where she focuses her practice on civil litigation of serious injury cases including negligent and inadequate security, medical malpractice, automobile negligence and wrongful death.
Cossio understands that when clients are injured by no fault of their own, figuring out what steps to take next can be daunting. That’s why she is proud to be able to use her expertise and experience to guide clients through the litigation process. She is dedicated to getting to know her clients and their cases in order to get them the compensation they deserve.
As a partner at Cook & Cossio, Cossio is committed to excellent legal representation. Over the years, the firm has recovered millions of dollars in compensation for injury victims and their families.
Cossio is licensed to practice in all state and federal courts in Arkansas, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Tennessee and the 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.
She is also a member of the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association, Arkansas Bar Association, Pulaski County Bar Association and Arkansas Association of Women Lawyers.
Whitney Cossio lives in Little Rock with her husband, Robert, and their son, Baker.
