While most lawyers are dreaming of making the perfect closing argument at trial, Heather Zachary is probably finishing up another case-winning brief. But as the daughter of a judge and previous law clerk of two Arkansas Supreme Court judges, Zachary’s focus on appellate law is a natural fit. In private practice, she has handled numerous appeals on issues from class-action litigation to bankruptcy. Her innate ability to simplify complex legal arguments so that even her children can understand them have made her a resource of appellate knowledge for lawyers across the state.
