More than two decades ago, Katherine Blackmon Carroll flung open the doors of her family law practice, hit the ground running and has not slowed down since. “When I started my practice, I asked God to please send me clients who need me and who I can believe in. He has not let me down yet. I have now been practicing law for more than 20 years, and I am still passionate about my representation of the people who put their families in my hands.”

It takes a particular mindset to be adept at balancing skill in the courtroom with guiding a client through an emotional and often traumatic life experience. Katherine Blackmon Carroll brings both litigation skill and an empathetic attitude to her law practice. Certified as a health and wellness coach and life coach, Carroll recognizes every client is unique and deserves the treatment best suited for his or her individual situation.
“I love litigation and truly enjoy the thrill of a good court battle, but not every case should end up in court with the parties fighting it out,” she says. “I want my clients to know their options and have the guidance to make smart decisions. Sometimes that means I’m a ‘pit bull,’ and sometimes a softer touch is required.”
