Kathleen McDonald, a founding partner of Beacon Legal Group, loves when business, law and technology combine in and out of the courtroom. McDonald’s current practice focuses on Internet law, business transactions and immigration matters for individuals and corporations. Prior to helping establish BLG, she served as a deputy prosecuting attorney for several years, before which she clerked at a noted international business law firm and worked with the president and general counsel of Aristotle Inc.

“We formed BLG with one main purpose — to make a positive difference in the lives of our clients and in the area around us,” says McDonald. “Every member of the BLG team is committed to having that positive and lasting impact, and I think it is evident in our relationships with our clients and our community.”

McDonald was the driving force behind pro bono events that provided free legal services to central Arkansas first responders (police officers, firefighters, paramedics) and their families, and that work earned her Arkansas Bar Association Golden Gavel Awards in 2014 and 2015. She was also an Arkansas Business “40 Under 40” honoree this year and a graduate of Leadership Greater Little Rock Class 30.
