“My philosophy of family law practice is that it’s my job to actually improve my client’s family through the resulting court order or settlement in each case,” says Bonnie Robertson of Robertson Law Firm, PLLC. “Ideally, I get to help my client see the light at the end of the tunnel, the big picture, and to focus on what’s important, whether it’s the kids or financial stability and peace of mind.”

Bonnie Robertson has been primarily practicing family law for almost 15 years. She established Robertson Law Firm, PLLC directly after passing the Arkansas Bar Exam, and her firm has grown to include four separate locations and to include four other attorneys who provide family, criminal, probate and bankruptcy representation to their clients.

“Litigating a family law dispute is one of the most stressful experiences a person can have, whether kids are involved or not,” Robertson says. “As the attorney, I have a lot of control over whether my client feels informed, empowered, and supported, which eases the situation. If I ever lose appreciation for that, it will be time to move on to something else. But so far, it’s one of my greatest strengths as an attorney.”
