An Arkansas native, Michael B. Phillips grew up in Clover Bend on his family’s rice, soybean and wheat farm surrounded by passionate, hardworking family members that instilled in him a sense of commitment to a job well done and determination to succeed when faced with adversity. “These are some of the same principles our law practice is built on,” he says.
“When I began law school I never thought I would have a plaintiff’s personal injury practice. I thought I would be a transactional lawyer, representing banks, businesses, etc. I even got my MBA in preparation for that career path. But I can tell you that it has been the absolute privilege of my professional life to get up every day and go to work fighting for the rights of people who have been wrongfully harmed by others through no fault of their own,” Phillips says. “Oftentimes our firm represents people who have been marginalized, who don’t have a voice, against powerful, influential and well-resourced interests.”
Phillips takes great pride in the attention every case and every client receives at his firm. “Every case is our most important case and every client is our most important client,” he says.
