Keith Pike runs a boutique law firm focusing on divorce, child custody and other family law matters. In addition to his law degree, Pike also has an MBA and is a licensed real estate broker. Because of his extensive education, training and background in business and real estate, Pike focuses on more complex high-asset divorces. His clients tend to consist of doctors, lawyers, business owners, other professionals, and their spouses. His clients typically require the services of an attorney who understands how businesses operate and how complex property interests are valued and divided.
Pike accepts a relatively small number of cases so that he can devote the work and focus required for each case he takes. Clients hire him because he brings more to the table than most would expect from someone his age. Before practicing law, he worked as a computer programmer for nearly 15 years, making him one of the most tech-savvy attorneys in Arkansas. He is also a registered attorney ad litem, a certified mediator, and a licensed real estate instructor. In addition, he owns a real estate company and employs seven agents.
He started his legal career working for Jack Wagoner, a prominent family law attorney in Little Rock. “Jack is one of the best attorneys in the state,” he says. “I was extremely fortunate to be able to work with him.” Last year, Pike was counsel on a family law case that made it to the Arkansas Supreme Court – and won. Pike is also one of the plaintiff attorneys in the same-sex marriage case that is pending in the Arkansas Supreme Court.
Pike and his wife, Bethany, who is an accomplished estate planning attorney, are very honored that they are both being recognized this year in Little Rock Soirée’s Best Lawyers.
