Although Andy Taylor of Taylor & Taylor Law Firm, P.A. is well known by his fellow lawyers as an appellate attorney, he has also earned the respect of his peers for his thriving personal injury practice. From the start, he and law partner (and wife) Tasha Taylor decided to make the client experience the firm’s top priority. It’s this emphasis on the client experience that makes other attorneys want to refer their personal injury clients to Andy.

His personal injury practice is defined by communication and diligence. “I believe there’s no such thing as over-communicating with a client,” he says. “You won’t find client files collecting dust on a shelf in my office, and it’s not just because we use electronic files.” Andy keeps both the client and the referring attorney in the loop at every stage of the case all the way through settlement or verdict. He also endeavors to keep his clients’ cases moving forward and to achieve good results for each client.

In addition to handling car wreck cases, Andy has garnered a reputation for representing clients who have been injured in unusual circumstances, such as dog attacks, exercise equipment malfunctions and foreign objects in food. Even though the unusual cases present more complicated factual and legal issues, Andy enjoys working on them. “The unusual cases allow me to apply the same principles I use in my appellate practice, like looking at what’s happening nationally and crafting unique legal arguments when there isn’t a lot of precedent in Arkansas,” he says.

After graduating first in his class from the UALR William H. Bowen School of Law in 2005, Andy has remained supportive of the law school. He currently serves as president-elect of the Bowen School Alumni Association and is a member of the Dean’s Advisory Council. Each spring, the firm sponsors the Law School Alumni Association’s cookout at Dickey-Stephens Park.

Andy has been repeatedly recognized by his colleagues and clients as a top personal injury lawyer in Little Rock Soirée (2013, 2014), Arkansas Life Readers’ Choice (2014), and Super Lawyers Rising Star (Mid-South 2014).
