University of Central Arkansas alumna Robbi Davis calls Little Rock home with her fellow insurance agent husband, Scott. The Pine Bluff native has a long history in the insurance industry, with 29 years of experience helping her clients meet their needs. Robbi makes customer service a priority, saying, “When people call my agency they speak with a live person, not a pre-recorded voice message. Each of my team members is an expert on the Affordable Care Act.” Robbi and Scott are proud parents of a 17-year-old daughter, Maggie, and a 15-year-old son, Parker.

What lines of insurance do you write? Group and individual health insurance – including the Private Option plans – Medicare supplements, dental, vision, life and disability plans.

What type of coverage do consumers often forget? Long-term disability is a coverage that is often forgotten. LTD coverage protects an individual's ability to earn a living. A long-term disability can occur at any age. A typical LTD plan pays an individual 60 percent of their wages until they turn 65.

What does a typical day look like for you? I make an effort to schedule appointments with clients during regular business hours and return emails and do paperwork after hours. After all of my work is completed for the day, I spend time organizing the tasks that need to be completed the next day.

Who is your mentor?  My mother was my mentor. She was a very strong and persuasive businesswoman. I gained my work ethic and strong moral values from her.
