Christy Pettit is a University of Arkansas at Little Rock Trojan, but she has a soft spot for the Arkansas Razorbacks. “My husband, Kevin, and I met through a mutual friend at a Razorback game in 2008 and have been married for four years. What drives you? My family and the desire to do my best.

Who is your mentor? My late grandfather for all of his wisdom over the years and my mother for her strong work ethic and selflessness.

What does a typical day look like for you? The thing I love about this industry is that there is never a typical day.

What type of coverage do consumers often forget to purchase? Life insurance is one of the most important products, however often many feel uncomfortable talking about it and as a result don’t have adequate coverage. Umbrella policies are affordable and help protect you and your assets should a major-liability event occur.

How often should coverage be reviewed? Annually or bi-annually unless there has been a recent change in your lifestyle, such as marriage, birth of a child or a career change.
