Brian Thompson received his B.B.A. in finance-risk management from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. A native of Cabot, Thompson met his wife, Allison, while the two were interns together at Disney World. The couple has two children, Sadler, 3, and Jonathan, 6 months. He says his family is the driving force in his life, encouraging him to be the best man he can be.

Who is your mentor? My parents were my biggest mentors. The tireless service they both give their community and others around them have had a tremendous impact in how I live my life.

What type of coverage do consumers often forget to purchase? A lot of clients will overlook policies such as inland marine/personal articles and personal liability umbrellas. The inland marine protects specific items with a broader coverage than is provided in most homeowner policies. The umbrella policy gives the insured additional liability protection that can help protect their assets in the case of a lawsuit or judgment against them.

What makes your customer service outstanding? When I worked at Disney World I witnessed just what outstanding service really is. It’s as simple as caring. I care about each and every one of my clients and want to make sure any interaction they have with me and my agency is as pleasant as possible. This isn’t a transactional industry; we hope to build long and lasting relationships with all of our clients, and you can’t do that if you don’t care about them.
