“EARTH A New Wild” is the latest series to hit PBS, promising viewers a “new look at humankind’s relationship with the wildest places on Earth.”
The series, which is produced by National Geographic Studios in association with Passion Planet, follows the adventures of leading conservation scientist Dr. M. Sanjayan as he travels to 29 countries, exploring all that nature has to offer. From panda cubs to sharks, what makes “EARTH” different, however, is its in-depth look at the co-habitation of humans alongside these incredible creatures.
But before its big debut, Dr. Sanjayan is coming to Little Rock. In conjunction with the Nature Conservancy of Arkansas and the Museum of Discovery, the Ron Robinson Theater will host a free screening and panel discussion. The panel will feature Dr. Sanjayan and director of the Nature Conservancy Scott Simon and will be moderated by none other than the MoD’s Kevin Delaney.
The preview screening of “EARTH A New Wild” will take place Wednesday, Jan. 21, at 6 p.m., with the panel following shortly after. Guests must have reservations to attend and available spots are limited. To reserve your tickets, contact Ginsie Simmons at (501) 537-3081 or by email at gsimmons@museumofdiscovery.com.
