The Women’s Foundation of Arkansas held its 26th annual Power of the Purse luncheon at the Statehouse Convention Center, bringing in nearly $250,000 for its mission to empower women and girls across the state. Shamim Okolloh and Marnie Oldner co-chaired the fundraising event, which honored Lenore Trammell as Woman of the Year in Business, Cathy Tuggle as Woman of the Year in Philanthropy and Dr. Nirvana Manning as Woman of the Year in Public Service.
