In early February, the Arkansas Repertory Theatre celebrated 30 years of its signature fundraiser, Saints & Sinners, at the Statehouse Convention Center. Produced annually by The Rep, Saints & Sinners is touted as a fun event with no stuffy speeches or boring programs -- "just fun, spectacle and entertainment of the highest quality." The evening began with signature cocktails and a silent auction, followed by dinner, a performance directed by The Rep's Nicole Capri, a live auction and dancing. Guests had the opportunity to bid on exclusive items such as a New York trip with Producing Artistic Director Bob Hupp or a trip to the 2014 Tony Awards and after-party, just to name a few. The event raised $400,000, which benefited The Rep's education outreach programs and its MainStage productions, which bring 70,000 patrons to downtown Little Rock approximately 250 nights per year.
