Oscar de la Renta Visits Little Rock

The Clinton Presidential Center hosted a number of all-star guests at a special invitation-only event and reception to celebrate the museum’s newest exhibit, “Oscar de la Renta: American Icon.” Fashion designer Oscar de la Renta, longtime Vogue editor Anna Wintour, former American editor-at-large for Vogue magazine Andrè Leon Talley, President Bill Clinton, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Chelsea Clinton, Barbara Walters and Alice Walton were just a few of the special guests in attendance. The evening kicked off with cocktails and hors díoeuvres in the lobby, followed by a welcome by President Clinton in the Great Hall. Chelsea Clinton, Anna Wintour and Hillary Clinton spoke, and a video tribute honored de la Renta for his remarkable impact on the fashion industry. Executive Director of the Clinton Foundation Stephanie Streett made closing remarks, after which guests had the opportunity to mingle and tour the Oscar de la Renta exhibit and other exhibits on display. The de la Renta exhibit will be on display through Dec. 1.
