Serving Up Solutions

Once again, attendees gathered at the Albert Pike Masonic Center for the Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance’s 17th annual Serving Up Solutions. Chaired by Lance and Stacey Hines, the one-of-a-kind event featured legislators from the Arkansas Legislative Hunger Caucus as waiters for the night, plus delectable dishes, raffles, wine pulls and an auction. Proceeds from the evening supported programs like cooking classes, grocery store tours and grants for hunger relief organizations across Arkansas.

Delta Triennial Member Preview

The Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts hosted a member preview reception for the opening of the highly anticipated “Delta Triennial” exhibition. Museum members and supporters got to experience the exhibit before it officially opened to the public, while judges announced the winning pieces. The evening of cultural art was followed by refreshments, hors d’oeuvres and live music in the Cultural Living Room.

BrunchFest

The Centers’ young professional group, Emerging Leaders, hosted its annual BrunchFest event at The Hall. Breakfast and brunch dishes from more than 30 local restaurants were served along with mimosas, bloody marys, music and merchandise. Proceeds raised from the foodie event went directly toward supporting summer activities and recreational supplies for children and teens who live at The Centers.

Discover Trust Tree

Hip music, girl power and lots of color were on display at the annual Discover Trust Tree event. Attendees gathered at the Museum of Discovery once again to enjoy performances by talented campers, hands-on exhibits, a dance party and heavy hors d’oeuvres and drinks, all to raise funds for Trust Tree’s programs and operations, as well as scholarships and instruments for the nonprofit’s art, music and leadership camps.

Art Department: Bri Peterson

Art Department, the popular artist series hosted by Thea Foundation, returned to the Argenta gallery to highlight the colorful work of Bri Peterson. Peterson’s “Stay Gold” exhibit featured mixed-media art with tastes of nostalgia and pop culture references.

UA Little Rock Chancellor’s Circle Reception

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock hosted its Chancellor’s Circle reception on the UALR campus with friends, patrons and faculty. The Chancellor’s Circle profoundly impacts students, faculty and programs by providing need-based financial assistance, research opportunities for students and faculty, and enhanced technological resources.

WFA Cocktail Reception

The Women’s Foundation of Arkansas held a cocktail reception for supporters to honor its work for women and girls across the state. Hosted by Kay Kelley Arnold, the evening featured delectable hors d’oeuvres, refreshments and plenty of conversations about the organization’s past, present and future.

Bingo Bash

Access Group held its 17th annual Bingo Bash fundraiser at The Hall. Hosted by the Access in Action young professionals group and emceed by Lance Restum from the Arkansas Travelers Youth Foundation, guests enjoyed food, fun, prizes and lots of bingo. The event raised more than $80,000 for Access’ mission of building brighter futures for children and young adults with learning differences and special needs.
