The Arkansas Symphony Orchestra held its signature gala, Opus Ball XXXIX, at the Capital Hotel in downtown Little Rock to raise funds for the nonprofit’s music education programs that reach more than 30,000 children each year. Co-chaired by Kristen and Carlton Saffa, the black tie evening featured fine dining, live and silent auctions, performances by the ASO and dancing. Guests who stayed in the luxury hotel that night also enjoyed breakfast and live music the following morning. The 39th annual event raised a total of $623,901, a new record for the ASO.
