The Soirée Women’s Leadership Symposium has announced it will return for its sixth annual event on Thursday, May 2, 2024, and will also make the move to a new, larger venue.

The 2024 symposium will be held at the Statehouse Convention Center in the Wally Allen Ballroom in downtown Little Rock, and will offer a half day of professional development for women through programming led by executives, entrepreneurs and industry experts.

According to Mandy Richardson, symposium founder and publisher of Little Rock Soirée magazine, the move down the block is simply because the event has outgrown the Doubletree Hotel/Robinson Center space.

"We were thrilled at last year's sold-out attendance and recognize that this event can be experienced by so many more if we make the jump to the Statehouse Convention Center," Richardson says.

Richardson also notes that one of the event's biggest assets, and one that has greatly impacted its growth, is the team's commitment to assessing attendee feedback. Next year's event will continue offering the popular track format for much of the programming, allowing attendees to build a schedule that meets their needs. The also popular pre-symposium VIP event will make a return as well on May 1.

Keynote speakers, presenters and panelists have yet to be announced for 2024. Previous keynotes include Mia Hamm, Shiza Shahid, Cara Brookins, Randi Zuckerberg, Janet Stovall, Rebecca Minkoff, Danielle Weisberg and Carly Zakin.

"As of right now, we're still in the planning stage," Richardson says. "But we do have our eye on (and some asks out to) some exciting potential speakers, and are in the process of really digging into developing relevant, insightful breakout sessions with local leaders front and center. It's going to be another great day of networking and professional development, and we're thrilled to be able to welcome more women than ever to join us."

Registration for the symposium will open in early 2024, and discounted early bird pricing will also be available in the coming months.
