Every Mother Counts, a nonprofit focused on making pregnancy and childbirth safe, equitable and respectful for every mother, hosted a screening in tandem with the Arkansas Cinema Society for its film series “Giving Birth in America”. EMC was founded by Christy Turlington Burns, who gave welcoming remarks and shared the nonprofit’s mission. Guests watched the world premiere of the 20-minute film spotlight on maternal health in Arkansas and got to hear from health experts and film participants.
