Argenta Plaza is the place to be this spring, and one reason is the return of Party at the Plaza, a fundraising festival benefiting Arkansas Hospice.
Set for Saturday, April 22, this second annual event provides a full day of live music, food trucks, art, vendors and activities for the kiddos. The nonprofit will also present its Michael V. Aureli Compass Award honoring Arkansas Hospice Co-Founder Dee Brazil-Dale.
Among the acts taking the main stage are:
- Rebirth Brass Band
- Lagniappe
- The Dizzy 7
- The Rocktown Sparks
- The Shannon Boshears Band
- Silas Carpenter
"We’re excited to return to the Argenta Arts District again this year for this wonderful event," says Kim Kirkman, Arkansas Hospice's chief philanthropy officer. "Arkansas Hospice is the largest nonprofit hospice in the state, and Party at the Plaza supports our mission to bring comfort and compassion to patients and families facing serious illness throughout our 43-county service area, while raising community awareness of the services and support we offer. This event is very much a celebration of life and the things that bring meaning to us."
Party at the Plaza runs from 2-9:30 p.m. and admission is free. For more information, visit the Arkansas Hospice website, and follow along on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for updates.
