Lace up your sneakers, leprechauns. The Shamrock Shuffle is back.
After a successful launch last year, the family-friendly 5K fun run and walk benefiting the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Arkansas will return next Saturday, March 11, to Two Rivers Park in west Little Rock.
Along with the 3.1 miles near the river, participants will also enjoy finishers' medals, event T-shirts and even some green beer for the grownups.
"We’re excited to host this St Patrick’s Day-themed run to raise money and bring awareness to the RMHCA mission," says Tracye Enis, Shamrock Shuffle chair and president of the Red Shoe Crew, the RMHCA auxiliary group hosting the event. "Runners and walkers of all ages are encouraged to grab their green and join us at Two Rivers Park."
Proceeds from the event will help provide housing for families whose children are hospitalized in central Arkansas.
The Shamrock Shuffle begins at 2 p.m. Learn more on the RMHCA website, and follow the Red Shoe Crew on Facebook and Instagram for updates.
