SPONSORED: 8 Tips for Shopping Holiday House 2022

Presented by:

November is almost here, and with it comes the return of the season’s largest shopping event. The Junior League of Little Rock’s Holiday House has been bringing the holiday spirit to downtown Little Rock for more than 30 years. Beginning Nov. 16, this shopping extravaganza makes its triumphant return to the Statehouse Convention Center.

To help you prepare, here’s everything you need to know about the 2022 Holiday House:

1. Tickets

General admission and all special event tickets can be purchased on the JLLR website. General admission tickets can also be purchased in person at the ticket counter during the event. Special event tickets (preview party, Private Shopping, Ladies’ Night and Doughnuts With Santa) are limited and should be purchased in advance online. A very limited number of tickets will be available for purchase at the door for special events. Be sure to get yours now!

2. Preview Night

Wednesday, Nov. 16, 6-10 p.m.

Preview Night, sponsored by Simmons Bank, kicks off the shopping extravaganza of the season. Join JLLR for heavy hors d’oeuvres, desserts, complimentary wine and beer and, of course, lots of shopping. This is your first chance to shop from this year’s merchants before other special events and general shopping. Tickets are $60 and are limited, so get yours today.

3. Private Shopping

Thursday, Nov. 17, 9 a.m. – noon

Do you like to get a first look at all the merchants with a smaller crowd? There’s no better way to spend a Thursday morning than Private Shopping at Holiday House. Come early for brunch from Gina’s Catering and enjoy private shopping to beat the Holiday House crowd. Tickets are $40 and are limited.

4. Ladies’ Night

Thursday, Nov. 17, 5-9 p.m.

Gather up your girlfriends for Ladies’ Night. The evening will include heavy hors d’oeuvres, two drink tickets for complimentary beer or wine and shopping until your heart’s content. Enjoy a photo booth to capture the memories with your girls. Tickets are $40 and are limited.

5. Doughnuts With Santa

Saturday, Nov. 19, 9 a.m. – noon

Don’t forget the kiddos! Get jolly on Saturday morning and join JLLR for Doughnuts With Santa sponsored by Small World Big Fun. Come visit Santa in his workshop while enjoying activities, games and doughnuts. Tickets are $15, which includes a professional picture with Santa. Only children need a ticket for this event; adults are free. This event will be held at the Junior League of Little Rock building at 401 S. Scott St.

6. Merchants

No matter when you shop, you can peruse new and returning merchants from across the country. With a variety of gifts including gourmet foods, candy, clothing, jewelry, art, home decor, toys and much more, there is something for everyone on your shopping list.

7. Silent Auction

Wednesday, Nov. 16, 6 p.m. – Saturday, Nov. 19, 4 p.m.

Along with in-person shopping, you can also bid online from home on a variety of auction items. There are items ranging from gift cards and clothing to weekend getaways, spa treatments, games, art and more. Bidding is open throughout the show with special auction items only for one day. Follow the JLLR Facebook page for updates and get ready to place your bids. Click here to register and learn more.

8. Costume and supply drive.

Join JLLR’s community projects, Stuff the Bus and Little Readers Rock, by donating costumes and school supplies to benefit local projects in our community.

Holiday House is Nov. 16-19 with general shopping hours of noon – 9 p.m. on Thursday, 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Saturday.
