Camp Aldersgate is getting its groove on with a special themed edition of its annual Aldersgate After Dark event to celebrate the nonprofit's 75th anniversary.
On Friday, April 29, the camp will go all in on the 75 After Dark theme with a trip through the decades where guests will experience everything from a night at the disco to Woodstock throwbacks to soda fountain sipping on the Camp Aldersgate grounds.
The evening will include good eats, a nostalgia-packed marketplace and live music from Almost Elton John. Attendees are also encouraged to don attire from their favorite decade, whether it be poodle skirts or '90s grunge chic.
"This event’s theme is a special tribute to our legacy as we walk through the decades and remember how far we’ve come since 1947," says Camp Aldersgate CEO Sonya Murphy. "The future is bright for Camp Aldersgate Inc., and we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate this milestone."
Proceeds from the evening will further the camp's mission to provide life-changing experiences for individuals with special needs.
