The countdown is on! There are only two short weeks left until Christmas, and time is running out to get in with jolly ol’ Saint Nicholas. 

While we know he'll be popping into local events all over central Arkansas, here are a few surefire places to catch Santa Claus when he comes to town.

Sundays with Santa at The Capital Hotel: Santa will await visitors in the lobby of the Capital Hotel on Dec. 18 from 1-3 p.m. Children may bring their wish lists, and parents may bring their cameras for photographs. Santa’s Wonderland at Bass Pro Shops: Visitors will find a Christmas village, model trains, twinkling lights and free photos with Saint Nick. Santa Claus at Park Plaza Mall: Here, Santa arrives to visit with boys and girls every day until Christmas Eve. Hear him ho-ho-ho on the first level near the food court. Santa Claus at McCain Mall: Find Kris Kringle on the lower level and give him your secret wish list for the holiday season through Dec. 24. Bring your furry friend to pet night for a picture with Santa on Dec. 11 from 6-8 p.m. Make a reservation here. Hours vary and reservations are encouraged. Bonus Sightings:

  • Mr. and Mrs. Claus will make an appearance at The Galleries & Bookstore at Library Square for 2nd Friday Art Night on Dec. 9 from 5-8 p.m.
  • Santa Christopher (from HBOMax documentary Santa Camp) will greet children and families at Community Bakery on Dec. 14. from 6-7:30 p.m.
  • Father Christmas will be visiting the Little Rock Zoo on Sundays throughout the month and for a special breakfast on Dec. 17.

  • Santa and Mrs. Claus return to the Garvan Woodland Gardens in Hot Springs this year on select nights from 5-7 p.m.

  • The Santa Shack is back at the Cabot Walmart until Dec. 23.
