MISSION

Heart of Arkansas United Way has been improving lives and strengthening the community since 1923. Nearly 100 years later, its commitment remains, as it strategically responds to the unique challenges of this time.

HAUW is working to build a community that is stronger than ever — where individuals and families can build their financial strength, where all children have the chance to grow into their full potential, and where there is a strong safety net that provides support when the unexpected threatens the lives and livelihoods of our neighbors.

GIVING OPPORTUNITIES

• United Way Campaigns: Workplace Giving Campaigns are easier than ever. You can engage your team in giving back through a customized pledging website, or hold a traditional United Way campaign.

• Community Investment: The Community Investment Funds address the community’s greatest needs in education, financial stability and health. Gifts to the Community Investment Fund allow HAUW make grants to support the work of more than 30 organizations in the community.
