MISSION

Easterseals Arkansas, founded in 1944 as a service organization in response to the polio epidemic, has been helping individuals with disabilities, and their families, live better lives for more than 75 years. Our qualified staff really see each individual we serve to help them reach their full potential.

Today, under the direction of CEO Ron Ekstrand, we choose to lead again by making the COVID-19 vaccine mandatory for our team while also increasing our minimum wage to $15 per hour.

Ekstrand joined Easterseals two months before the pandemic started. Not only have we survived these unprecedented times, but we created plans to provide our much-needed services across the state and to become the employer, provider and charity of choice in our field.
