Jurassic Quest, the "edutainment" exhibit featuring more than 100 photorealistic dinosaurs, is coming to the Little Rock Oct. 8-10.

The exhibit will be open from 9 a.m. - 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. on Sunday.

Jurassic Quest will open at the Statehouse Convention Center with a collection of family-friendly activities including animatronic dinosaurs, dinosaur-themed rides, live dinosaur shows, interactive science and art activities, a soft play area for “triceratots," face painting, bounce houses, photo opportunities and more.

Paleontologists of all ages will enjoy walking through recreations of the Cretaceous, Jurassic and Triassic periods as well as the “Ancient Oceans” exhibit where you can catch a glimpse of a 50-foot-long megalodon.

Jurassic Quest worked with accredited paleontologists to recreate the dinosaurs as accurately as possible, with every detail from skin texture to movement reflecting the latest research on these ancient creatures.

Kids can interact with some of the characters and cast of Jurassic Quest, including Cammie the Camarasaurus, Tyson the T-Rex, Trixie the Triceratops, Safari Sarah, Dino Dustin, Captain Caleb, Prehistoric Nick or Park Ranger Marty.

Tickets are for a timed arrival window, and advance ticket purchase is strongly encouraged. They are available on the Jurassic Quest website
