All About Charlie

Full name: Charlie Goose Olson
Breed: Australian Cattle Dog
Approximate age: 8 years
Owners: Lacey and Samuel Olson

Personality: "Charlie is the most laid back cattle dog you’ll ever meet; however, he does love a good adventure or car ride. He’s a loyal and lovable goofball who is always happy to meet a new human, especially if they’re willing to throw a treat or two his way. He’s a happy boy who is typically sporting a big smile."
Lacey & Samuel's favorite thing about Charlie: "Even if he seems like he’s in a deep sleep, if you walk by him, he’ll raise his leg for a belly rub. Looks-wise, we have to say his fluffy raccoon tail!"
How Charlie came home: "Charlie was found roaming the streets of Malvern in July of 2018, and was picked up by the local animal shelter. After no one came forward, CARE for Animals in Little Rock stepped in and rescued him. They posted an adorable video of him on their Instagram feed, and we quickly messaged them asking if we could meet him. All he wanted was belly rubs, and we were immediately in love with him.
We had to wait for him to finish his Paws in Prison Program where he received training and then graduated with his AKC Canine Good Citizen certificate. He officially joined our family in October of 2018, and he has been the best boy ever since!"
