The Wildwood Park for the Arts announced its 2021-2022 festival and performance season for the park, including the return of many local favorites.

The season will see the renewal of the Music in the Wild outdoor concerts, Lanterns Festival and feature partnerships with other local arts organizations and performances from regional artists. 

 Here's the 2021-22 season schedule: 

Westoberfest - Sept. 24-25 - Two days of Bavarian themed food, beverages, family-friendly fun and musical performances await on park grounds.

Music in the Wild - Oct. 8 - Little Rock native Merlon Devine performs live music at the Butler Gazebo while guests watch the sunset and enjoy drinks and treats from a donations-based concessions area. 

"The Sound of Music" - Nov. 3-21 - See the classic Tony Award-winning play as performed by the Argenta Community Theater. For wheelchair accessible seating in Wildwood’s theater, send an email here.

Music in the Wild - Dec. 3 - A Rodney Block & Friends Christmas will be held in the Cabe Theatre. This festive event will feature Block's trumpet performance in tandem with The Rodney Block Collective, the Little Rock performing arts group Praeclara and other local artists.

"Sister Act" - April 1-10 - The comedy based on the 1992 film starring Whoopi Goldberg will hit the Cabe Theatre stage in partnership with Praeclara

Lanterns Festival - April 22-24 - Light up the night with the Lanterns Festival! Visitors are invited to sample food and performances from six different world cultures along a pathway lit with hundreds of luminarias.

Music in the Wild (Wild Women) - May 6 - Treat Mom to a celebration of women this Mother's Day weekend. This concert will feature performances from many incredible female performing artists of a variety of genres and performance styles.

Music in the Wild - June 3 - The artist for this installment of Music in the Wild, to be performed at the Butler Gazebo, will be announced at a later date.
