The next History is Served dining experience is set for next month and promises to be delicious.

Hosted by the Historic Arkansas Museum, the History is Served: Arkansas Foodways Dinner Series is designed to give locals a taste of the dishes that made The Natural State what it is today.

The third dinner of the 2021 lineup, which has the theme "Iconic Foods of Arkansas" will take place on Thursday, Aug. 19, and will highlight corn with Chef Aaron Fowler of Cypress Social whipping up a delicious spread for ticket holders.

To keep participants safe, meals will be picked up curbside at HAM, then invited to join via Zoom a program that explores corn's place in Arkansas history and culture.

The fourth and final dinner of the year will be held Oct. 21 and will feature apples with Jonathan Arrington and Jack Sundell of The Root Café.

Tickets to the August event are available now and will go fast. Click here to get yours.
