The Mosaic Templars Cultural Center's "The Negro Motorist Green Book" exhibit is only in town for a few more weeks, and has plans to go out with a bang with a downtown block party on Thursday, July 29.

Developed by the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service, "The Green Book" exhibit is an exploration of the guide that helped Black travelers and businesses safely navigate the Jim Crow South.

The exhibit, which also opened with a celebratory block party in May, closes out with a day of food trucks, music and car displays at the MTCC, where guests are invited to enjoy the fun outdoors and step inside to explore the exhibit.

The party lasts from 5-8 p.m. Click here for more event details and find more exhibit info here. For updates, follow the MTCC on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
