Patio lovers, rejoice.

2020 forced businesses to come up with new ways to reach customers safely, and one the most popular ways that happened was through outdoor dining and temporary entertainment districts across the city.

And while we can finally see the light at the end of the pandemic tunnel, we're thrilled that some of that 2020 ingenuity is officially back for 2021, and according to the Downtown Little Rock Partnership, that includes the return of the SoMa Outdoor Dining Room on April 2.

Located in the parking lot at 1301 Main St., the space allows guests to order food to-go from area restaurants and carry it to the tents to eat, often with live music, activities and performances in tow. Nearby restaurants include The Root, Mockingbird Bar and Tacos, Esters, Community Bakery, Raduno Brick Oven & Barroom, Loblolly Creamery and South on Main.

This news follows the return of the Argenta Outdoor Dining District two weeks ago, as well as the continuation of the Historic Hillcrest Entertainment District for First Thursday activities in May and June. No word yet on if the River Market's outdoor dining area will make an appearance this year, but there are plenty of patios to keep you occupied until then.
