The crispy gingerbread, the enchanting tree — the holidays are not to be missed at the Capital Hotel in downtown Little Rock. Mark your calendars for all the festivities and we'll see you there.

Tree Lighting Ceremony

Monday, Nov. 25, 6 p.m.

We weren't kidding when we said the tree was enchanting. See it come to life in the hotel lobby and get into the holiday spirit a few days ahead of Thanksgiving.

Teddy Bear Tea

Saturday, Nov. 30 - Dec. 21, 1:20 p.m.

It doesn't get much cuter than this. A full spread of eats, sweets, tea and hot cocoa awaits your kiddos, along with a teddy bear to take home and a visit from a familiar bearded fellow in a red suit.

Sundays with Santa

Every Sunday in December, 2-4 p.m.

That's right, the big guy's in town. And what better way to spend your afternoon than with Mr. and Mrs. Claus? (Bonus: It's yet another reason to skip the mall madness.)

Holiday Tea

Weekdays in December, 2:30 - 4 p.m.

Who says celebrating is only for the weekends? Take a break from your day-to-day and catch up with a friend over holiday treats and hot tea. We'll sip to that.

Storytime with Santa

Dec. 16-20 & 23, 6 p.m.

No one tells a bedtime story like Santa. Bring the kids — in their pj's, of course — for a night of songs, stories and Christmas magic.

Gingerbread Decorating Workshop

Monday, Dec. 23, 1 p.m. & 3 p.m.

It's no secret that building a gingerbread house isn't as easy as it looks. Work out the kinks and learn from the pros in this winter wonderland.

Lunch with Mr. & Mrs. Claus

Dec. 16-18, 20 & 23, 11:30 a.m.

Your kids have a million questions about the North Pole, so why not let them go directly to the source? A kid-friendly menu and a seat at Santa's table are waiting for them.
