MISSION
Since the sheriffs of Arkansas founded the Youth Ranches in 1976, it has helped raise more than 2,100 boys and girls from every corner of the state. Children come to the ranch through no fault of their own; many have been abandoned, abused or neglected. Whatever the reason, children find hope and healing and a place to call home at the ranch for as long as they need it. Boys and girls live in large family homes with loving houseparents who raise them like their own. Every child receives proper health care and educational opportunities. Children also have an opportunity to gain real-life experience working with animals through the ranch’s educational farm program.
GIVING OPPORTUNITIES
Raising a child is an expensive undertaking, especially when you raise as many as the Arkansas Sheriffs’ Youth Ranches. The ranch pays for all needs associated with raising a child at no expense to the family and is more than 90% funded through private support. As a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, all gifts made to the ranch are tax-deductible within the extent of the law. Learn more about the ranch or make a gift at YouthRanches.com.
• A one-time gift of $285 can outfit a child with everything they need for one school year.
• A gift of $750 can feed one cottage of up to eight children for one month.
• A monthly gift can be made for as little as $10 per month and helps meet the ranch’s greatest needs.
