Students from Stephens Elementary School (Little Rock School District) celebrate at the 2018 Bessie B. Moore Awards luncheon.

MISSION

Founded in 1962 as a private, nonpartisan, educational nonprofit organization, Economics Arkansas equips pre-K-12 schools with standards-based resources and professional development to teach economics, personal finance and the free-enterprise system.

The organization uses practical, innovative and inspiring methods so that Arkansas students can master an understanding of economics and personal finance and apply that knowledge for success in the economy. They will know how the world works and how to acquire marketable job skills, sound decision-making skills and money management skills necessary to thrive as adults.

Trainings, programs and resources are project-based, grade appropriate, innovative and state-approved for professional development credit.
