MISSION

Since 1981, Ronald McDonald House Charities^® of Arkansas (RMHCA) has provided a home away from home for more than 37,000 families sent to Little Rock for life-saving medical care for their child. The house provides a comfortable place for them to stay while providing the little things that are otherwise easily taken for granted — a comfortable suite, meals, play spaces and friendly faces to come home to after a long day in the hospital.

RMHCA also operates the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile, a 40-foot mobile unit that provides free, full-service dental care and education to children who need it most.

RMHCA will soon open a 2,000-square-foot Ronald McDonald Family Room inside UAMS to provide a similar place of respite for families with babies in the NICU.

FUNDRAISERS AND EVENTS

• 17th annual Chocolate Fantasy Ball - A chocolate-filled gala with 5,000-plus sweet treats on Feb. 8, 2020, at the Statehouse Convention Center, ChocolateFantasyBall.com

• 27th annual RMHCA Golf Scramble - Play golf, have fun, help families on Sept. 28, 2020, at the Pleasant Valley Country Club, GolfScramble.org

GIVING OPPORTUNITIES

• $83 sponsors a family with a critically ill child to stay at RMHCA for one night, so they can have a home away from home just steps away from the hospital. Visit RMHCArkansas.org.

• $250, $500 or $1,000 donations will give you a permanent heart on the RMHCA Heart Wall in memory, honor or celebration of loved ones while also helping families. Visit HeartWall.org.

• Donate to help finish the new Ronald McDonald Family Room inside UAMS. A $5,000-plus donation will be permanently recognized on the donor wall in the space.
