MISSION
CareLink’s goal is to provide older people and their families with the resources they need to overcome the challenges of aging. As Central Arkansas’ area agency on aging, CareLink strives to be a friend to the aging community so they always have someone to call when they have a question.
From Meals on Wheels to family caregiving resources to wellness classes, CareLink provides services to help older people stay exactly where they want to be: home. Their safety and health is number one in helping maintain the independence they need to enjoy their golden years.
GIVING OPPORTUNITIES
• Donations to CareLink’s Meals on Wheels program assure seniors in Little Rock, North Little Rock and Maumelle don’t have to wonder where their next meal is coming from.
• Donations to CareLink’s urgent needs fund provide assistance during emergencies for older homeowners when there is no other help available for home repairs or replacements.
• Donations also support CareLink’s Senior Companions program through funding mileage and a stipend for volunteers who are also seniors, providing chores and companionship to others.
• The value of CareLink’s volunteers to the aging community is immeasurable. The Meals on Wheels program needs 55 more volunteers.
