Things have been pretty quiet at the Arkansas Repertory Theatre over the summer, but that's all about to change. To celebrate its upcoming show "Million Dollar Quartet," The Rep will host a "Jailhouse Rock" party on Tuesday, Aug. 20, at Rock Town Distillery.

The musical night includes a performance by cast member Trent Rowland (who plays Elvis Presley in The Rep's production), as well as a $5 custom cocktail by Rock Town called "The Jailbird."

"Four musical legends are coming to The Rep – Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins – and what better way to celebrate than with a rock 'n' roll-themed party?," said Kimberly Miller, special events manager at The Rep. "We hope everyone will come out to support The Rep and meet others who are excited to see 'Million Dollar Quartet' this fall."

The party lasts from 5:30-7:30 p.m. You can get more details on the Facebook event page

Opening night for "Million Dollar Quartet" is Friday, Sept. 6. For tickets and more information, click here.
