Once again proving that a library is more than books, the CALS Ron Robinson Theater has a stellar summer in mind with weekly "Star Wars" screenings.

Starting in July, your Thursdays will get a straight shot of midichlorians as the downtown theater hosts viewings of Episodes I - VI. Journey through a galaxy far, far away over the course of six weeks, with each screening beginning at 7 p.m.

Here's how the schedule pans out:

  • July 11 - "Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace"
  • July 18 - "Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones"
  • July 25 - "Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith"
  • Aug. 1 - "Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope"
  • Aug. 8 - "Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back"
  • Aug. 15 - "Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi"

Admission to each screening will only cost you $5, and don't forget about the full-service concession stand (complete with local craft beer) in the lobby.

For more info about the theater's summer lineup, head to the CALS website and follow along on Facebook and Instagram.
