Esse Purse Museum will debut a new exhibit to celebrate museum donors and their remembrances, many of which are part of the museum's collection. "Remembrances: History Seen Through Entrusted Objects" debuts on Tuesday, Feb. 19, and runs through May 5.

"Remembrances" highlights the variety of items that have been generously donated to Esse over the years. The exhibit will include purses and their contents, hats, shoes, paper dolls, photographs, sewing kits and more. To kick off the exhibit, Esse will host a special evening reception on Thursday, March 14, from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Although some items are donated by their owners, most are given by family members to honor a loved one’s memory. All items help create a tangible history of women.

Esse Purse Museum & Store is located at 1510 Main St. in Little Rock. Esse is open 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. Sunday. For more info, head to Esse's website
